Character Traits

The focus of instruction in M.I.N.D groups has been on Character Traits. Characters do things, feel things, hear things, say things, and think things. But the important thing is that characters act. These actions show us what kind of people these characters are: friendly, sad, nosey, happy, or proactive. When we talk about a character, we often describe that character in terms of character traits, descriptive adjectives like happy or sad that tell us the specific qualities of the character. They're the same kinds of words that we might use to describe ourselves or others.

Mrs. Bratcher came up with the neatest idea- the students in her M.I.N.D group created posters with traits of themselves. These turned out SUPER cute!
